In this caseĭelete the appid folder for the game as well as it's corresponding state.patch file inside the downloading folder. Not been created for the game yet you will need to make one and hope or find out the correct name for the folder. Go to your steamapps folder and locate the appid (ie 218320) folder of the game you wish to salvageĬopy all the files in this folder to the game folder in your common folder inside the steamapps directory.
